Thalgo has grown since its start in 1964 as a manufacturer for algae-based products geared towards the medical field. Once the benefits of algae were realized as a beauty and wellness aid, and that its use in treatments like facials, massages, wraps and nutritional supplements were realized, Thalgo grew to become a world leader in this arena. Although our headquarters are in southeast France, our products are in over 20,000 outlets around the world, and we employ over 450 employees. The company comprises 15 businesses along with 2 research laboratories and 2 of our own integrated production units. No matter how we expand, our commitment to environmentally friendly practices leads us to support the Marine Conservation Society and invest in products that reduce CO2 emissions.
